Webking safeguards your privacy and therefore we are committed to protecting the personal information we have about you. We are cautious when we handle your personal data and you can feel confident that the processing of personal data is only done correctly in accordance with applicable rules.

What is personal data?

Personal data is any kind of information that can be linked directly or indirectly to a person. Examples of personal data are: name, address, telephone number, social security number, pictures and sound recordings. Also encrypted data and various kinds of electronic identities (eg IP numbers) are personal data if they can be linked to a person. Some common examples are: collecting personal data, registering and organizing them in a customer register, storing them in e.g. IT system, transferring them to someone else and deleting them.

Why do we collect personal data?

Manage orders

Your personal information is primarily processed to handle your orders. We do this to keep what we promised when you became a customer (ie to fulfill our agreement with you). For example, we need to be able to contact you, charge, send information.

Manage purchases

In addition to your information being used for managing your purchase. The information is used to inform you about what is going on, to answer questions that you ask for customer service, to adapt information and offers to you (so-called profiling) and to send marketing. To investigate how satisfied you as a customer are with Webking and our products, questionnaires can also be conducted.

Before and after your purchase

When you make a purchase with us and / or subscribe to our newsletter / participate in one of our competitions, we want to put your interests in focus. You give us your consent to collect information by actively approving that you subscribe to our newsletter or approving our competition terms. To be able to put your interests in focus, your personal data is also used for so-called profiling. Profiling means that your data is analyzed in order to better assess which information you need and which marketing you may appreciate.

From whom is the data collected?

The personal information is collected directly from you, eg. through when you became a customer or when you contact us.

The personal data can also be collected from the state’s personal address register to ensure that we have the right information for you, for example. if you move.

How is the data shared?

Legal basis for handling personal data
